District 196 Community Education

Calling all percussionists! This week-long camp is open to all percussionists in grades 6-8 for the 2025-2026 school year. Focus on learning the skills from beginning to advanced levels in snare drum, xylophone/bells/marimba, note reading, timpani, and drumset. Build, workout, and flex your percussion muscles (“chops”) by playing exciting music together each day in all areas of percussion. Learn some FUN percussion ensemble songs to play together for families in an informal performance at the end of the week. Come drum with us!
