Led by a District 196 parent and South Metro lead volunteer for the Be SMART campaign, this nonpartisan, non-legislative presentation offers practical tools for creating safer homes and conversations.

Alissa has been a passionate Be SMART presenter and volunteer since becoming a mom and after the Uvalde shooting. Over the past three years, she's partnered with the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and local police, presented to ECFE groups and corporate parent networks, and tabled at community events. With 14+ years of presentation experience, she is known for an engaging style. Parents and caregivers are consistently thankful for offering practical, often-overlooked, safety resources.
