    Bake and Take Your Holiday Cookies

    Oh no! Are all the holiday preparations getting you down?? Don’t fret, Nancy’s team will help you get your baking done in no time at all! Go home with ten dozen cookies in all. In this hands-on class, you will be working in pairs. Cookie dough and everything you need to form, trim, and decorate the cookies will be provided. Your cookies will be baked for you by Nancy’s team in large commercial ovens. Hairnets and gloves will be provided, but bring your own apron if you like. And most important, don’t forget to bring containers to carry home your ten dozen treats. Please arrive on time and plan on staying the full three hours, which includes assisting with clean-up at the end of class. Due to safety restrictions, and out of respect for the adult attendees, no children are allowed in or near the class. If you cannot find child care you may send someone in your place. Please be respectful to others; if you are ill, you may find someone to take your place. Cookies will not be provided for no-shows. Supply fee of $15 payable to instructor at class for in-person sessions. We are sorry, we cannot accommodate nut allergies in this class.

    Begin with an autumn salad featuring Granny Smith apples, candied walnuts, feta cheese and dried cranberries tossed in raspberry vinaigrette. Enjoy "Chateaubriand", center cut tenderloin of beef seared, roasted and served with bordelaise, bearnaise and pepper sauce. Accompaniments include creamy potatoes au gratin and fresh steamed asparagus tossed with olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon. Assemble the entree wrapping tender breast of chicken in flaky puff pastry with shallots and portobello mushrooms. Prepare an amazing sauce using sweet port wine. Sides will include asparagus with olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon along with a delicious Jasmine rice blend using toasted almonds and dried cranberries. Finish with chocolate decadence, a rich flourless chocolate torte served with an exquisite raspberry sauce and fresh whipped cream. Demonstration and tasting.
