  • Apple Valley-Eastview Gymnastics Camp (grades 7-12)

    Calling all interested in joining High School gymnastics for the 2024-2025 season! Join us for a fun-filled summer of practice and fun with the high school team. Any gymnasts joining any high school team are welcome to join. Must be in 7-12 grade starting 2024-2025
  • Eastview Lightning Football Camp (grades 2-12

    Elementary Camp (Grades 2-4) Discover the skills and schemes specific to playing football at Eastview High School. Emphasis is on fundamentals, skill development and fun! Lightning football camps are facilitated by EVHS football coaches and held on the EVHS practice fields. Practice fundamentals and learn various concepts of the game. Receive t-shirt! Youth Camp (Grades 5-8): For students looking to play EVAA tackle Football in 2024. It will be held at Eastview and coached by current Varsity/JV coaches and players, and will focus on developing skills and football IQ. This is a great way to prepare for the upcoming football season. High School Camp (Grades 9-12): This camp is for all Eastview Football Varsity, JV and Sophomore players (Class of 2025, 2026, & 2027). This is a fully padded camp to prepare for Duluth Camp (June 16-18; talk to a coach about registration) and our 2024 regular season. Equipment will be distributed prior to camp (equipment deposit must be provided).Must be zoned to play football at Eastview. Note: no practice on Wednesday for Juneteenth.
  • Eastview Lightning Girls Basketball Camp (grades K-12)

    Learn new basketball skills while having fun with friends and Eastview High School coaches and players! Focus on learning the fundamental skills to become a strong player. Practice your skills while participating in team contests, a 3 v 3 league and a 5 v 5 league. EVHS staff take great pride and are very excited to work with youth basketball players as they develop the Lightning winning tradition. Participants receive a t-shirt. Breakfast Club (7-12) High school players, train to improve, while building team chemistry! This summer long camp will provide opportunities to develop your individual skills, team defensive/offensive concepts, and to take part in 1 v 1, 3 v 3, and 5 v 5 games. Participants receive a t-shirt, if registered by May 25. Official dates of workouts will be posted to the Eastview girls basketball website. C.A.P.E On Basketball Camp (4-8) Focus on the fundamental skills to become a stronger player. This camp will provide you with the drills and skills to continue your development beyond your time at camp. We will focus on ball handling, defensive footwork, shooting, confidence, and teamwork. Offensive Skills Academy (grades K-4) Dribble, shoot and pass! Join the Eastview girls basketball coaching staff and players to focus on your shooting, passing, ball handling and 1 v 1 moves. Participants receive a t-shirt.
  • Eastview Softball Camp (grades K-12)

    Learn, develop, and enhance your skills in all phases of softball. Come join the fun and learn more about hitting, fielding, teamwork and excellence! Become a better softball player by working with current Eastview softball players and coaches. Our staff is eager to help you improve and develop into the best player possible!
  • ISD 196 Summer Nordic Ski Camp (boys and girls, grades 7-12)

    Designed to provide skiers with the opportunity to further develop their ski technique and conditioning through a variety of roller ski focused workouts. Weekly sessions will include one easy long distance ski; one technique day; and an additional day focused on intervals and/or strength work on roller skis. Athletes will need to have access to the following equipment in order to participate: 1) Roller skis (If an athlete does not own their own roller skis they can be rented through the District 196 Nordic Ski Booster club for $50 for the summer) 2) Nordic ski boots suitable for skate/freestyle skiing 3) Nordic ski poles (sized for freestyle/skate skiing) with roller ski tips 4) Bicycle helmet 5) Optional: Nordic ski gloves suitable for roller skiing Tuesdays: Meet at Falcon Ridge Middle School. Athletes will do plyos, strength and balance in the grass, technique drills (often at Eastview High School (EVHS) lot), and agility work. Specific strength on skis, like double pole or no pole skate. Fridays: Meet at Ridge Cliff park across from the Covington neighborhood. Athletes will do intervals. Intervals will be in the Covington loop, occasionally up the Johnny Cake Hill for skiers proficient in downhills. Sundays: Meet at various locations around the lower Twin Cities (ie Hyland, Wirth Beach, Rose Park in Burnsville, Orchard Lake Beach in Lakeville) for a long ski. Goal is 2 hours, but NEW THIS YEAR there will also be an option for newer/slower skiers to participate and do a shorter loop or stay and work on technique. Coach Abe will attend that day.
