Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of time so we can set off on our walk together. At the end of our stroll we'll have some social time to enjoy bottled water, a snack and visit with friends. It is adjacent to a fully accessible playground area, so before or after you play you can enjoy the playground or walking trails. There is a picnic shelter at the park. Golf putters and golf balls provided. Caregivers do NOT need to register for this activity. If you answered yes, plan to join us at the Redwood Pool in Apple Valley for some fun in the water. We'll swim in the evening from 7-9pm in July and August we'll swim from 4:30-6:30pm. Book Club - "The Land of Stories"Zoom Classes-Adults with DisabilitiesJoin friends for an online book club this fall. We will spend 10 weeks together reading "The Land of Stories - The Wishing Spell". The Wishing Spell follows twin siblings Alex and Conner Bailey, who grew up with fairy tales read to them by their grandmother. But when Alex and Conner are magically transported inside their grandmother's fairy tale treasury, they will be thrust into a world where all their fairy tale characters are extremely real. Lady of the Lake, a beautiful historic sternwheeler boat will take us all around the lake to explore beautiful shorelines, bay, inlets, and harbors while learning about the lake's history. Dinner is provided that includes a sandwich, pasta salad, fruit salad, jumbo cookie and a beverage. Gluten free option is available.
