  • Do-At-Home Art Kits by Yourself or With Your Friends-June (grades K-5)

    Get creative by yourself or have a party with a group of friends. Learn a new skill and create masterpieces of art in your own house or schedule an online party with your friends with do-it-at-home kits! Each kit contains two projects that will include an easy to follow lesson plan, a link to an online instructional video taught by a Kidcreate Studio art teacher, art materials and additional suggestions for online learning that relate to the art lesson. Order one, three or five kits for your friends or encourage them to purchase their own! Registration deadline June 2. Art kit can be picked up, Tuesday, June 7, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. or Wednesday, June 8, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at The District Office East, 15180 Canada Ave, Rosemount Online instruction available 24/7. Suggestion for additional online learning. Each art kit include the following two projects Oops a La Mode Don't you just hate it when you drop your ice cream cone? Learn about the Pop Art Movement and create a super silly ice cream sculpture out of air-dry clay and paint. Garden Collage Spring is in the air. Follow easy step-by-step instructions and create a mixed media collage with a garden theme on a real canvas board.
  • Music Together (adult and child birth-5 yrs)

    Music Together Online is an award-winning program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers—and the grownups who love them—that is designed to teach the way young children learn: through play. Whether online or in-person, each class is designed to be an active music-making experience for little ones and their grownups.The rich music environment in class, full of opportunities for experimentation and play, will help your child grow into a confident, life-long music maker. The summer session includes: one live, online or in-person class at your designated class time, weekly online 30-minute “Musical Play Dates” each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and weekly online 30-minute “Songs, Stories Lullaby Time” each Thursday at 6:30 p.m., all delivered via Zoom and all recorded so you can enjoy them more than once. Four online Saturday Night Family Dance Parties are also included, also at 6:30 pm.
