Pearl has it all in the depths of the ocean. As the youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Scylla she should be perfectly content… but she dreams about the surface world. She wonders what it would be like to walk on the land and be amongst its people. When she saves a young rock star from sleeping with the fishes, she realizes she will do whatever it takes to leave the underwater kingdom behind. When her parents tell her that she can’t go ashore, all hope seems lost… until she remembers that her Uncle Caliban used to tell her stories about walking on land. But King Triton banished Caliban from his underwater kingdom. Join Storybook Theatre to present their original version of The Little Mermaid. Auditions will be held for registered students Monday, March 24(no scripts or advanced preparation needed). Come excited and enthusiastic! Parts are available for all age groups. Practice will be held daily from 10:00 a.m-2:15 p.m. Free public performance, with limited tickets, will be held on Friday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m.
