    Enjoy a fun, organized environment to play and practice baseball with the high school players and coaching staff. Practice proper throwing mechanics, participate in athletic and baseball specific drills and compete in baseball games. High school coaches and players will provide skill instruction in hitting, throwing and fielding in a team environment.     Grades 1-4 Join Coach Dehnel and the Eastview boys volleyball athletes as they teach fundamental concepts of volleyball. Be introduced to the essential basic skills through games. Learn basic skills and basic team concepts, while playing and competing in a series of games. Experience one of the fastest growing boys high school sports in the country! No experience is necessary.     Elementary Camp (grades 2-4) Discover the skills and schemes specific to playing football at Eastview High School. Emphasis is on fundamentals, skill development and fun! Lightning football camps are facilitated by EVHS football coaches and held on the EVHS practice fields. Practice fundamentals and learn various concepts of the game. Receive a t-shirt. Register for EVFBALL-24 Youth Camp (grades 5-8): For students looking to play EVAA tackle football in 2026. It will be held at Eastview and coached by current Varsity/JV coaches and players, and will focus on developing skills and football IQ. This is a great way to prepare for the upcoming football season. Register for EVFBALL-58 High School Camp (grades 9-12): This camp is mandatory for anyone playing 2026-2027 Eastview Lightning football in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. This camp will provide you with the drills and skills to continue your development beyond your time at camp. We will focus on ball handling, defensive footwork, shooting, confidence and teamwork.     Develop your wrestling skills with Eastview wrestling coaches and varsity wrestlers! Learn basic fundamentals and skill development, while having fun.   • Eastview Super Group - Speed, Power and Strength Camp (grades 6-12)

    Middle School Grades 6-8 Take part in an introduction to the speed, power and strength development program that our Lightning student-athletes use in and out of season. With our Athletic Department being partnered and powered by TCO’s Training Haus, our programming is going to be second to none! Training for this group is going to be suitable to your age and development, and designed to increase your athletic ability. With a big focus on strength movements, mobility and speed training, we need you to provide the dedication and discipline to give us your 100% all summer! Receive a t-shirt. Register for EVSC-68 High School Grades 9-12 For many of our athletes, getting back to training for the activities they love is a huge priority. This summer may look different than in years past, but we are going to continue to push the speed, power and strength program that many of you used in and out of season this past year. Ninth graders will be introduced to the same programs as our returning student-athletes while being taught how to move efficiently and safely within the program. Starting in 2019, the Eastview Athletic Department partnered with and is now powered by Twin Cities Orthopedics' Training Haus. Our programming is second to no one! Training is going to be challenging, yet suitable for each of our athletes and is designed to increase your athletic ability. We are asking for 100% DEDICATION and DISCIPLINE all summer so you are able to feel the benefits when you get back to the field, court, water, ice-rink, course, track, mat or the slopes! An optional, free add-on speed session training is available on Wednesdays from either 7:00-8:00 am or 8:00-9:00 am, for registered participants.   • ISD 196 Summer Nordic Ski Camp (boys and girls, grades 7-12)

    Do you want to work toward being the best Nordic skier you can be? Regardless of your age or experience, roller skiing and engaging in other ski related activities during the summer will help you reach your goals as a Nordic Skier. Train this summer with your Nordic teammates. Receive coaching not only from the team’s regular coaching staff but from successful program alumni. The ISD 196 Summer 2026 Nordic Ski/Roller Ski Training Program is intended to: Provide an introduction to summer training for new skiers looking to improve their technique and condition Offer an opportunity for junior varsity skiers to develop the skills and conditioning needed to qualify for the varsity team next year Support our current varsity skiers, including those taking part in other summer training programs, to further develop their skills with a focus on enhancing those aspects of skiing that will support them reaching their personal skiing goals. Athletes are expected to have their own equipment, but we will have roller ski rentals available to all who need them for $50.00: Roller skis (If an athlete does not own their own roller skis they can be rented through the District 196 Nordic Ski Booster club for $50 for the summer) Nordic ski boots suitable for skate/freestyle skiing Nordic ski poles (sized for freestyle/skate skiing) with roller ski tips Bicycle helmet Water bottle and holder Optional: Nordic ski gloves suitable for roller skiing Sunscreen is highly recommended Skiers of every ability and experience level are welcome.   • Offseason EVAA Boys Basketball Skills Academy (grades 3-8)

    Improve your basketball skills and be prepared for a successful traveling season. Led by the Eastview high school coaching staff, each session focuses on teaching and refining essential offensive and defensive skills such as ball handling, passing, shooting form, footwork, spacing and individual defense. Receive age-appropriate instruction, repetition and feedback to build confidence and develop strong fundamentals. As the offseason progresses, skills are reinforced through competitive drills and small-sided games that allow players to apply what they’ve learned. Our goal is to help every player grow their skill set, develop good habits and build a strong foundation for future success within the Eastview basketball program. Workouts are broken up into three sessions: Spring, Summer 1 and Summer 2 (fall sign-up will be available at a future date).
