    The "FORCE" Defense and Goalie Camp focuses on essential skills for both defensemen and goalies, including footwork, stick positioning, checks and stick work.   • All Irish Lacrosse Family Night (boys, ages 8-15)

    All youth lacrosse players, ages U8 and up, are invited to participate in our All Irish Night — a special event where they’ll get the chance to play alongside the Rosemount High School lacrosse team. Each youth player will be paired with a high school athlete, providing an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Rosemount Lacrosse while having fun on the field. Every participant will receive a complimentary t-shirt, and there will be exciting raffle prizes at the end of the night.   • Rosemount Boys Basketball - Irish Skills Academy (grades K-12)

    Enjoy all aspects of basketball while developing skills and expanding your knowledge of the game! Focus on skill work and training in preparation for competition at the next level. Workouts will focus on improving individual fundamentals (shooting, ball-handling, passing, defense and 1 v 1 move), strength and conditioning and general basketball knowledge. Players of all levels will benefit.   • Rosemount Irish Developmental Training Swim Camp (grades 2-8)

    This program consists of six to eight sessions that work on a different skill each session. Each of the skills introduced are used in competitive swimming at the varsity level. Instruction is by the head coach of the Rosemount swim and dive high school team, and in water demonstrations and coaching will be given by varsity athletes from the Rosemount swim team. Choose to attend individual sessions to target a specific skill or sign up for the full eight week session. Receive an Irish swim cap and those that sign up for all eight sessions will receive an Irish swim and dive team t-shirt, as well. Prerequisite: These are not swim lessons. Must be able to swim down the length of a pool on your own and the skills that are taught are for competitive swimming, not recreational swimming. Rates: $50 per individual session 1-6 $200 for the total package. This option is for all 8 sessions, which will give participants an extra practice session and a mini meet (in addition to a t-shirt). Dates and description for each session: ●Session 1 (4/7): Backstroke- This session will focus on backstroke. We start off with body positioning on our back and then move to the flutter kicking on our back. After those skills we will work on the rotation and arm movement. At the end of the session we will put everything together and work on timing from the backstroke flags into the wall ●Session 2 (4/9): Freestyle- This freestyle session will focus on the flutter kick to start with using a kickboard. We then move back to the rotation that is used in freestyle and then adding everything together to complete the stroke ●Session 3 (4/14): Breaststroke- In this breaststroke session, we will start by focusing on the whip kick on land, on our backs and with a board. After the kick we will focus on the arm movement in the water and to finish the session we will work on the timing of the breaststroke. ●Session 4 (4/16): Butterfly- The final session of strokes will work on butterfly. We will start by working on the dolphin kick in the water on our back, side, and stomach. We will then transition to the arm movement and pull of the butterfly stroke and then finish with the timing ●Session 5 (4/21): Turns- In this session we will focus on the competitive turns that swimmers use on the walls. We will start with working on the streamline that is used to push off the wall. We will then transition to the flip turn for freestyle and then add in the flip turn for backstroke, working on timing into the wall. We will finish this session on the open turn which is used for breaststroke and butterfly turns ●Session 6 (4/23): Starts & Finishes- Our final session of this program will focus on the speed. We will be going off of the blocks working on using the wedge that our varsity athletes use and how to dive into the water from the block. We will then work on how to finish a race on all 4 strokes ●Sessions 7 (4/28) & 8 (4/30): These sessions are included for the participants who signed up for the complete package. Session 7 will go through the structure of what a swim practice would look like and give an introduction to a competitive swim practice at the varsity level. Session 8 we will have a mini meet to wrap up the entire program
  • Rosemount Irish Elite Soccer Pre-Season Prep Camp (boys, grades 8-12)

    Please join me for two weeks of evening trainings, under the lights, as we prepare for the upcoming fall season. Trainings will focus on defensive organization, possession – specifically movement off the ball, body shape and positioning, along with quick decision making and execution. These evening trainings are a great time for new athletes to connect with returning players and coaches and get a feel for how things work in the RHS boys’ soccer program.
  • Rosemount Irish Elite Technical Skills Soccer Camp (boys, grades 8-12)

    Join us for four days of specific, targeted and intense technical trainings. Led by USSF C licensed and current RHS coaches Todd Farrington (MTA) and Johnny LeMoine (Lakeville Soccer Club). Athletes will be challenged to concentrate on individual ball skills, ball striking for passing, driven balls and shooting, higher thinking distribution, along with defensive techniques in 1 v 1, 1 v 2 and small group defensive situations. Athletes will refine skills to receive and distribute balls quicker and more intelligently through various activities and games. Challenge your mind and body, preparing to perform at your best ever even when physically exhausted, because that's when elite players rise above the rest.

    Rosemount Girls Basketball Fundamentals Camp (grades K-3) Learn and practice basketball with the Irish! Join Coach Orr, coaching staff and Rosemount High School players for a week of fun and skill building.     The Rosemount High School Summer Champions Club staff is excited to offer the following strength and speed development programs for students. These programs are administered by RHS coaches! Champions Club Intro Program (grades 5 & 6) Work with RHS coaches on speed development, agility, explosiveness and core strength.     Rosemount Irish Lithium Summer Team (grades 10-12)

    Lithium program started in 2021 to foster a very active group of players to help make the program stronger. The group of Lithium players work together in the off season to focus on developing stick skills, team concepts and playing together as one team. The team will practice together and play in summer tournaments. Playing locally minimizes travel and eliminates the need for lodging. During the summer, players can be expected to learn the next season's plays, formations and needs of the team. Practice will have a large focus on the GPS of lacrosse (groundballs, passing, shooting). Fees include coaching, field expenses and tournament fee. All players entering sophomore through senior year are invited to participate. The team is selected by the coaches based on need, age and previous team experience. If enough interest, there will be two lithium teams (JV and varsity).
  • Rosemount Irish Soccer 4 v 4 Summer League (boys and girls, grades 8-12)

    Take part in our most well attended camp of the summer. This is a competitive camp, so come ready to compete and improve your skills the best way possible; by playing in small-sided games. Small games will force you to clean up your technical skills, improve your off-the-ball tactics offensively and improve your defensive tactics and communication. Each day will begin with a brief warm up and 10-15 minute technical training with Coach Farrington. This camp gives athletes opportunities to learn and grow in a small-sided setting.

    Camp is geared for competitive high school athletes who want to get in and train, and middle school athletes who want to get an idea of what happens at the high school level. Camp is mainly geared towards technique that progresses towards the training and conditioning done during the high school season.
  • Rosemount Irish Track Club – Speed and Power Summer Training (boys and girls, grades 7-12)

    This program is very specific in nature to the development of each athlete’s speed and power. Programming will be written and implemented with a focus on research-based methods. Special emphasis will be placed on measuring and testing within each workout to monitor development.

    Improve your volleyball skills and understanding of the game at Irish volleyball camp. Pick a volleyball camp that fits your skill level and interest. Clinic meets over the course of 5 weeks on Monday, and is geared towards those with playing experience.     Wrestling for Beginners (Foundations of Wrestling) (grades pre K-6) This camp is geared for the younger wrestler and will focus on the foundations of the sport ... concepts of wrestling, basic takedowns, breakdowns and pinning combinations.   • Rosemount Queens of the Court Volleyball League (grades 5-9)

    Get your friends together in a team and come play in this fun, competitive league. Teams consist of four to ten players that will play for one hour each Wednesday evening. This is a great way to improve your volleyball skills, hang out with friends and compete. Players must create their own teams prior to registration. All players must register individually and provide their team name.
