The goal of Youth Enrichment is to provide opportunities for youth to pursue their interests, expand their abilities and improve their social skills in an informal, fun and safe environment.
Cahoots
Together, create and take home six kinds of cookies. Rolled sugar thins will be ready for kids to paint original designs, using food coloring and paint brushes. Mix, shape and bake the famous Peanut Butter Balls. Already mixed and ready for shaping will be Chocolate Mint, Peppernuts and Sugar Drop, to be dipped in assorted sprinkles and multi-colored Spritz cookies.
Laurel Severson, a former home economist in commercial food service, was also a recipe tester and editing expert. She is a popular, long-time instructor. Students enjoy being actively involved in her classes.
