District 196 Community Education

Learn the essential skills to lead crowds and support the home team! There is no stunting in this entry level program, just a big focus on fun, while learning proper hand and body movements, cheers and jumping techniques. Conclude with a choreographed performance. Receive pom-poms.

Have fun using art materials and science to create some cool special effects! Experiment with tinfoil, shaving cream, glow-in-the-dark paint, chalk, glue salt and watercolor to make interesting and colorful creations. Make cupcakes on canvas with puffy shaving cream frosting, art that glows, foil embossing and more!

Please note that this class has been moved from Scott Highlands Middle School to Falcon Ridget Middle School.  Turn everyday ingredients in your kitchen like potatoes, celery, citrus fruits, carrots, corn and peppers into homemade stamps and create colorful collages!
