The goal of Youth Enrichment is to provide opportunities for youth to pursue their interests, expand their abilities and improve their social skills in an informal, fun and safe environment.
Cahoots
Let’s hike Whitetail before all the mosquitos come out! They’ve made some improvements in the park and have a long boardwalk on one side which will shorten our trail to about 2-1/2 miles (rather than 3-1/2) around Empire Lake. It’s also a one-way path. Please wear a mask and socially distance. I’ll hand out bottles of water and snacks after the hike that you can take with you. Meet by the Empire Lake Picnic Shelter.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT HIKES AND STROLLS:
Staff and parents who need to accompany their clients must stay by them the entire time, keep up with their pace of walking, and help maintain social distancing. Please wear appropriate shoes (no flip-flops!)
