Hit it farther with more accuracy. Improve your shots around the green, including bunkers. Small class sizes (maximum 8) allow for individual attention within the group setting. All sessions include three one-hour driving range lessons, a one-hour short game lesson and a three-hour on-course lesson where you will practice the skills you have learned under the patient guidance of skilled staff. Seven hours total instruction. Range balls, clubs if needed, tees and training aids provided. Rotate through various stations learning the fundamentals of grip, stance, posture, full swing, putting, chipping and pitching. Learn etiquette, strategy and efficiency. Intermediate golfers will also be doing bunkers, practicing skills learned in beginner camp and going out on the course. Students are grouped by age, ability level and friends for maximum comfort. All sessions run Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a rainout make-up day. Appropriately sized clubs are available for use free-of-charge. Fee includes t-shirt and bag tag. Beginner lessons are recommended for new golfers and returning campers who do not yet hit the ball consistently or who have very little experience. Typically, these golfers do not hit a 7 iron 25 yards in the air in three out of five attempts, do not sink three out of five putts from two feet, do not two-putt three out of five times from ten feet, and do not break 72 for a 9 hole “par 3” short golf course.
