District 196 Community Education

If your child loves to sing, Da Capo provides an opportunity for them to share their passion for music with others! The District 196 Music Department, in partnership with District 196 Community Education, is excited to offer a musical learning opportunity for your child. Da Capo is a non-auditioned choir that focuses on vocal technique, music reading and artistic expression in a fun and educational setting. The choir will sing the National Anthem at the MN Twins game at Target Field, June 4, as well as a brief concert during the June 6 final choir session. Henry Rieffer is the music specialist at Shannon Park Elementary School.
