Nurture your growing body and prepare for a mindful birth experience with this supportive prenatal yoga class.

  • Practice safe and effective yoga poses that strengthen your core, improve flexibility and ease pregnancy discomforts.
  • Learn breathing techniques (pranayama) to manage stress, promote relaxation and prepare for labor.
  • Gain valuable tips for navigating the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy.
  • Connect with other expecting mothers in a supportive and encouraging community.

Perfect for pregnant women at all stages of pregnancy (with doctor's approval). No prior yoga experience necessary. Modifications will be offered to accommodate individual needs and experience levels. Bring yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water bottle and blanket (optional). A doctor's clearance is required for participation during pregnancy.

Amanda Ewers

Amanda is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, YogaRenew Mindfulness certified, and is a Professional Educator with a Masters in Teaching. She has been offering classes with ISD 196 community education since 2017.
