The goal of Youth Enrichment is to provide opportunities for youth to pursue their interests, expand their abilities and improve their social skills in an informal, fun and safe environment.
Cahoots
During this special dinner, prepare and taste a marinated shredded salad, fresh melon wrapped with prosciutto ham, classic spaghetti with pancetta bacon and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (Spaghetti alla Carbonara), salad featuring mixed greens (Insalata Mista) and Polenta served with sweet sausages and porcini mushrooms. Finish with classical frothy Zabaglione and the traditional almond (Amaretti) cookies.
Laurel Severson, a former home economist in commercial food service, was also a recipe tester and editing expert. She is a popular, long-time instructor. Students enjoy being actively involved in her classes.
