Prenatal Movement and Mindfulness

Nurture your growing body and prepare for a mindful birth experience with this supportive prenatal yoga class.

In this class, you will:

  • Practice safe and effective yoga poses that strengthen your core, improve flexibility, and ease pregnancy discomforts.
  • Learn breathing techniques (pranayama) to manage stress, promote relaxation, and prepare for labor.
  • Gain valuable tips for navigating the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy.
  • Connect with other expecting mothers in a supportive and encouraging community.

This class is perfect for:

  • Pregnant women at all stages of pregnancy (with doctor's approval)
  • No prior yoga experience necessary

Modifications will be offered to accommodate individual needs and experience levels.

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Water bottle
  • Blanket (optional)

Please note: A doctor's clearance is required for participation during pregnancy.

Amanda Ewers

Amanda is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, YogaRenew Mindfulness certified, and is a Professional Educator with a Masters in Teaching. She has been offering classes with ISD 196 community education since 2017.
