The goal of Youth Enrichment is to provide opportunities for youth to pursue their interests, expand their abilities and improve their social skills in an informal, fun and safe environment.
Cahoots
Become certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding for pools and waterparks, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Lifeguard. Attendance at all class sessions is mandatory.
10/17/24-10/19/24 and 12/26/24-12/28: Is offered in the Blended Learning format which combines online learning with on-site skill sessions for skill practice and assessment. Online completion is required prior to the first day of the course
Age Prerequisite: 15 years of age by the last day of the classSkill Prerequisites: Prerequisite skills will be evaluated at the beginning of the first day. Those who do not meet the skill requirements will not be allowed to stay for the class and may choose to practice the swimming skills to be able to transfer to another class or cancel with a $25 cancellation fee.
A Waterfront Lifeguarding Module will be offered for those that successfully complete this course and would like to earn the additional certification to work at a beach. There is an additional fee for this course. Call 952-431-8777 for more information or to register.
