    Develop your wrestling skills! Learn basic fundamentals and skill development while having fun. Develop a controlled and aggressive style of wrestling, learn to compete in a supportive environment and build "Lightning Pride". This camp is open to all abilities and experience levels.     Competition Cheer Development Course- (Grades 7-12) Are you ready to jump, stunt, and cheer your way to confidence? Our Competition Cheer Development Course is designed to introduce you to the exciting world of cheerleading, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your foundational skills. This course focuses on building essential skills like: Motions and technique: Learn proper arm placement, stances, and execution of fundamental cheer motions. Jumps and flexibility: Improve your jump height and technique while increasing your flexibility and range of motion. Stunting fundamentals: Learn the basics of safe stunting in a controlled environment, focusing on proper body alignment and control. Learning cheers and chants: practice and perfect basic cheers and chants, focusing on rhythm and performance. In addition to skill development, this course promotes: Strength and conditioning: Build overall strength, power, and flexibility necessary for cheerleading. Eastview Youth Cheerleading Camp - (Grades 1-6) Enjoy learning the sport of cheerleading with the Eastview varsity competition cheerleaders. This is a beginning-level program focusing on the fundamentals of cheerleading (motions, sidelines, cheers, stretching, fun and more fun). And, design your own cheer bow! Receive a t-shirt if registered two weeks before the start of camp.

    Eastview Boys Basketball Summer Camp (June) Perfect for players of all skill levels, camp focuses on developing fundamental basketball techniques, teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment.     Middle School Camp (grade 6-8) Fun week where training will be headed up by the Eastview High School boys players and coaches.   • Eastview Lightning Boys Volleyball Camp (grades 1-12)

    Grades 1-4 Join Coach Dehnel and the Eastview boys volleyball athletes as they teach fundamental concepts of volleyball. Participants will be introduced to the essential basic skills through games. Get active, have fun and come learn about volleyball! Register for EVBVB-14 Grades 5-8 Come discover the fundamental skills and game concepts of volleyball. Participants will learn basic skills and basic team concepts, while playing and competing in a series of games. Experience one of fastest growing boys high school sports in the country! No experience is necessary. Register for EVBVB-58 Grades 9-12 This camp will cover everything from the fundamental skills to organized team play concepts, in a fast paced balance of competing and playing games.   • Eastview Lightning Football Camp (grades 2-12)

    Elementary Camp (grades 2-4) Discover the skills and schemes specific to playing football at Eastview High School. Emphasis is on fundamentals, skill development and fun! Lightning football camps are facilitated by EVHS football coaches and held on the EVHS practice fields. Practice fundamentals and learn various concepts of the game. Receive t-shirt. Register for EVFBALL-24 Youth Camp (grades 5-8): For students looking to play EVAA tackle Football in 2025. It will be held at Eastview and coached by current Varsity/JV coaches and players, and will focus on developing skills and football IQ. This is a great way to prepare for the upcoming football season. Register for EVFBALL-58 High School Camp (grades 9-12): This camp is mandatory for anyone playing 2025-2026 Eastview Lightning football in grades 10, 11 or 12, and going to the Bemidji team camp.   • Eastview Lightning Girls Basketball Camp (grades K-12)

    Learn new basketball skills while having fun with friends and Eastview High School coaches and players! Focus on learning the fundamental skills to become a strong player. Practice your skills while participating in team contests, a 3 v 3 league and a 5 v 5 league. EVHS staff take great pride and are very excited to work with youth basketball players, as they develop the Lightning winning tradition. Register by May 25 to receive a t-shirt. Hoop Dreams Academy (grades K-4) Dribble, shoot and pass! Join the Eastview girls basketball coaching staff and players to focus on your shooting, passing, ball handling and 1 v 1 moves. Receive a t-shirt. Register for EVGBASK-K4A or EVGBASK-K4B C.A.P.E On Basketball Camp (grades 4-8) Focus on the fundamental skills to become a stronger player. This camp will provide you with the drills and skills to continue your development beyond your time at camp. We will focus on ball handling, defensive footwork, shooting, confidence and teamwork. Register for EVGBASK-48 - choose one month or save $10 and sign-up for the whole summer! Breakfast Club (grades 7-12) High school players, train to improve, while building team chemistry! This summer long camp will provide opportunities to develop your individual skills, team defensive/offensive concepts and to take part in 1 v 1, 3 v 3 and 5 v 5 games.     Lil' Boltz Spikers (girls, grades K-4) Want to learn to play the ultimate team sport? Then volleyball is for you! Come and learn the fundamentals of volleyball from Eastview High School coaches and players. Coaches will help you grow as an athlete, while learning the skills needed for passing, setting and hitting through fun drills and competitions! Register by June 1 to receive a t-shirt. Register for EVVBALL-K4 Middle School Camp (girls, grades 5-8) This camp is for new and experienced volleyball players. Athletes will learn through games, drills and competition similar to the high school program. Tennis shoes, knee pads (or long pants), long sleeves and a water bottle are encouraged. Register by July 1 to receive a t-shirt. Register for EVVBALL-58 High School Camp (girls, grades 9-12) A great way to get ready for tryouts for the Eastview High School program. Experience foundational skill work, position and team training and lots of competition. If you are thinking of trying out, you are strongly encouraged to attend. Defense register for EVVBALL-812D Built to work on defensive skills in passing, created for all positions. Setters register for EVVBALL-812ST Built for setters with intermediate to advanced experience, or those of other positions who want to learn more about setting. Will grow in IQ and skill.   • ISD 196 Summer Nordic Ski Camp (boys and girls, grades 7-12)

    Do YOU want to work toward being the best Nordic skier you can be? Regardless of your age or experience, roller skiing and engaging in other ski related activities during the summer will help you reach your goals as a Nordic Skier. Train this summer with your Nordic teammates. Receive coaching not only from the team’s regular coaching staff but from successful program alumni. The ISD 196 Summer 2025 Nordic Ski/Roller Ski Training Program is intended to: Provide an introduction to summer training for new skiers looking to improve their technique and condition Offer an opportunity for Junior Varsity skiers to develop the skills and conditioning needed to qualify for the Varsity team next year Support our current Varsity skiers, including those taking part in other summer training programs, to further develop their skills with a focus on enhancing those aspects of skiing that will support them reaching their personal skiing goals. Athletes are expected to have their own equipment, but we will have roller ski rentals available to all who need them for $50.00: Roller skis (If an athlete does not own their own roller skis they can be rented through the District 196 Nordic Ski Booster club for $50 for the summer) Nordic ski boots suitable for skate/freestyle skiing Nordic ski poles (sized for freestyle/skate skiing) with roller ski tips Bicycle helmet Water bottle and holder Optional: Nordic ski gloves suitable for roller skiing Skiers of every ability and experience level are welcome. We aim to have at least three coaches at each practice session so we can break into groups based on ability. This year, we will have both a 3-day plan and a 2-day option.
