Photography for Wildlife - Vanishing Fences

Enrichment - Adult / Photography -
Adult Fall 2025

Minnesota Trail offers great views of wild animal species found right in Minnesota … but, they can be challenging to photograph. Learn how to accomplish the best shots behind mesh or fencing and recommended equipment to enhance your zoo photography. This class includes time in the classroom and on the indoor/outdoor trail with the photographer and zoo naturalist. With plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice techniques, head home with skills for photographing anything, whether there’s a fence between you and your subject or not!

Approximate class schedule:

•5:00- welcome & classroom learning

•5:45- photography practice on the trail

•7:40- return to classroom & wrap-up

Bring a camera, any relevant lenses you have, and a tripod or monopod if you have one.
