Telling a Story with Your Photos at the Family Farm
As summer starts to slowly transition to fall, the Zoo’s Wells Fargo Family Farm is beautiful and verdant. Learn new ways to take photographs that tell a story to the viewer, as we explore the farm’s many animal areas, vegetable garden, apple orchard, barns, and pond. Bring any lenses you have for your camera, and a tripod if you have one – the photography instructor will also have some materials for people to try. This class will combine classroom time with time roaming throughout the farm, where we’ll photograph everything from horses to pigs to chickens to the scarecrow standing watch over the garden! With plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice your new ideas, you’ll head home with skills for creating a photo that truly tells a thousand words.
