Enrichment - Youth / Fitness & Sports -
Youth Fall 2022

Our goal is to build a strong body, mind and character by participating in a competitive and inclusive mountain bike club and racing experience. All members are encouraged, but not required to race as part of the fall league. We practice two days per week and participate in five races throughout the season on weekends. You must provide your own bike and helmet. Please visit the team website at or Visit the Minnesota Mountain Biking website for more information.

ISD 196 Mountain Bike Adventure Club and Race Team Information Sheet

Our Club:

Official Coed Club that is insured and supported by ISD 196 along with our governing body, MCA (Minnesota Cycling Association). We invite all riders regardless if one wants to race in the fall or not. Our racing athletes can earn a varsity letter. Letter Requirements are posted on our website. We are four teams that practice together and share resources. Together we are the ISD 196 Mountain Bike Adventure Club and Race Team.

Skill Level:

We have riders on our team each year that range from complete novices to expert racers. We welcome all riders and racers. As a staff we work to tailor our rides and practices to be able to safely instruct all skill levels. Because of this, we are constantly looking for adult volunteer ride leaders for practices. These volunteers not only make our practices safer but also provide the key to differentiating practices for all skill levels.

Mondays and Thursdays starting July 14th 6-8 pm (HS), 6:30-8pm (MS). (We will start as early as 5:00 PM later in the season when we begin to lose light in the fall.)

Practice locations will be posted on our website. We will meet at the overflow lot of Lebanon Hills for most of our practices.

All transportation is the responsibility of parents to organize independently of our staff.
