Examine an election year with disputed results: 1800, 1824, 1876, 1960, and 2000. In the final class session we'll discuss elections where third parties made a difference in the outcome. (1860, 1912, 1968, 1992 and 2016)

Studied the Supreme Court at the Supreme Court Institute for Teachers at Georgetown Law School, and George Washington at Mount Vernon and the Founding Fathers with Richard Brookhiser, the editor of the National Review at NYU.
